The sloe berries bring festive, sweet spices reminiscent of Christmas cake, while the tart Davidson plums add a lovely, tangy punch. To balance this tartness, we infuse the mix with a touch of Western Australian wildflower honey, creating a delightful sweet-and-sour symphony.

Tasting Notes:
Our West Winds Wild Plum Gin blends the unique flavours of native Australian Davidson plums and sloe berries, both technically plums. This distinctive combination infuses the gin with rich, bold flavours.
We crafted a warm, earthy base gin using juniper, liquorice root, angelica root, native Australian anise myrtle, and orange peel. In this case, the anise and orange give our gin its smooth and characteristic warmth—delicious!
Once the gin is made, we steep it with the Davidson plums and sloe berries for three months, extracting fresh, vibrant flavours without any astringency. The Davidson plums add a tangy and sour stone fruit note, while the sloe berries contribute a sticky, stewed fruit character.
Finally, we lightly sweeten the gin with Banksia honey from the Swan Valley, enhancing the fruit characters and balancing the tartness.
Make the perfect serve Gin&Soda, with 2 parts premium soda to 1 part Wild Plum Gin. Garnish with a slice of fresh Orange.
